About: Personal reflections and an exploration of sources related to the Exodus story, represented in the medium of comics. In the spirit of asking questions on Passover, this piece ends with an unanswered question for further thought. Includes a script for screen reader accessibility (https://tinyurl.com/OnLeavingEgyptScript). Similar projects can also be found on my Instagram feed (@stpkls).
Background: An ongoing interest in graphic novel memoirs informed the creation of this visual “Dvar Torah” — a particular mode of discourse in Jewish communal life in which community members share analysis and reflections related to Jewish texts and/or holidays.
